(the registered association Neighbourhood Home Wuppertal) is an open meeting centre for all cultures.

 

We offer people who are looking for a new home in Wuppertal after having fled their countries free of charge guidance and local contacts.

Group offerings:

You can improve your German language skills in different groups, establish new contacts and share ideas about Germany and your home countries.

 

Personal contacts:

Many people in Germany are engaged in voluntary work as mentor, for example. Volunteer mentors can be your or your family’s personal contact and help you to become integrated in Wuppertal.

Nachbarschaftsheim Wuppertal e.V.

Since 1948, the Nachbarschaftsheim has been active as an independent social welfare organisation at three locations for people in Wuppertal. Our non-profit organisation has no political or religious allegiance.

The Nachbarschaftsheim is an open meeting centre for people from all cultures. It offers toddlers’ groups, a kindergarten, a children cafeteria, a youth club, adult language courses, offers of talks and advice, activities aiming at promoting employment, a senior citizens’ club, an open cafeteria and much more.

 

In collaboration with the City of Wuppertal, the Nachbarschaftsheim also organises refugee and integration assistance. These offers are sponsored by
